A range of systems was demonstrated that are meant to facilitate and streamline workflow in healthcare such as business-critical workflows, information processes, employee productivity and collaboration.
The applications included :

- Medical Imaging
- Point of care
The award winning software system VitalPAC was also demonstrated. With this system the doctor can follow the patient’s life functions on his iPhone as well as prescribe treatment of the patient. Hospitals have demonstrated a reduction in mortality rates using this system.
The briefing was a good opportunity for establishing contact with relevant people at the Apple organisation, who can provide technological know-how and experience to the MovingLife project, and to our many other medical/healthcare projects.
The MovingLife project is a mHealth project which will deliver roadmaps for technological research, implementation practice and policy support with the aim of accelerating the establishment, acceptance and wide use of mobile eHealth solutions. Read more about the MovingLife project
